Kevin Vickers brings experience in government, the private sector, and not-for-profit to inform the solutions he crafts for his clients. A student of the law and politics for more than 20 years, Kevin graduated from Harvard Law School after serving as Chief of Staff for the Chair of the Texas House Democratic Caucus. He represents clients in both contested and uncontested matters, with a focus on legislative advocacy, administrative law, commercial transactions, campaigns, and environmental law.
Licensed in Texas and California, Kevin has helped individuals, Fortune 100 companies, and nonprofits navigate complex litigation and legal compliance minefields. Prior to joining Brady & Peavey, Kevin worked as Special Counsel for a large international law firm. He has litigated both with, and directly against, government agencies. He drafts legislation for all levels of government and is equally at home in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches.
Kevin’s notable representations span across several industries and areas of law, including work on behalf of government and private developers, citizens groups, renewable energy companies, and private entities engaged in business and regulatory disputes. He also contributes significant time to pro bono clients, including representation of individuals and small businesses.
Kevin has argued before the Texas Supreme Court and authored briefing in precedent-setting cases in the lower courts. He also has appeared before state agencies, negotiated settlements, and drafted contracts covering diverse commercial and governmental activities. A native of Beaumont, Texas, Kevin has traveled the U.S. widely and made his home near all three coasts.
